Intel goes Green with its updates

October 31st, 2007 by elias.kai

Fab 32 will produce Intel's 45 nm processors, including the Penryn family for desktop, laptop, servers and workstations. Intel confirmed it is scheduled to launch its first 45 nm processors – for servers and workstations – on November 12.

Intel is shipping an updated version of its dual-core Itanium 2 server processor, called Montvale but don’t expect to see a dramatic improvement.

Maintaining its edge in semiconductor manufacturing and marking the opening of the first of its four 45 nm fabs, chip giant Intel Corp. is set to officially open its 300 mm Fab 32 in Chandler, Arizona this morning, representing a $3 billion investment for the company.

For fiscal year 2007, the intel community got $43.5 billion. That number, while hardly suprising to those who followed the budget, was a secret that intel did not want to reveal.

Facebook.com gone in 5 seconds - How to deactivate (cancel delete) your Facebook Account Forever?

October 28th, 2007 by elias.kai

I said Goodbye for Facebook. You too will do that one day or another.

So you are a person that knows Enough is Enough for Social Networks using your own personal activity for marketing and behavioral studies.

All you need to do in order to cancel your Facebook.com or Facebook.co.uk account is to:

A- Log in to your Facebook account, and click on “Account” in the top right corner.
B- Scroll down not that down but to the middle bottom of the page, and click on the deactivation link. Click here to deactivate your Facebook account

Confirm Facebook Account Deactivation by giving one of these legitimate deactivation reasons:
Then click “Deactivate”.

Please let us know why you are deactivating. (required)

I don’t feel safe on the site.
You can alter your privacy settings to make sure you are more protected.

I receive too many emails from Facebook.
You can control what email you receive from us here.

I have another Facebook account.

I don’t understand how to use the site.

A tour of Facebook may help clarify how to best use the site.
Or email us with your questions. We’ll respond within 24 hours.

This is temporary. I’ll be back. LOL Yeah Right.

Remember, you can reactivate at any time by logging in with your email and password. Just so you know, your admin status in any groups or events will not be automatically restored after activation.

I spend too much time using Facebook.

One way to control your interaction with Facebook is to limit the number of emails you receive from us. You can control what emails you receive here.

Facebook is resulting in social drama for me.

You can prevent this by learning about how to limit people from accessing your profile.

I don’t find Facebook useful.

You might find Facebook more useful if you connect with more of your friends. Check out our Friend Finder, or search for them.

Also try taking a tour of Facebook to learn about features others find useful.

Please explain further:

Opt out of receiving emails from Facebook.
Note: Even after you deactivate, your friends can still invite you to events, tag you in photos, or ask you to join groups. If you opt out, you will NOT receive these email invitations and notifications from your friends.

You can reactivate your account at any time by logging in with your email and password.
Hmm Probably—-

Google PageRank plays Battle Tank

October 27th, 2007 by elias.kai

I saw it. I heard it. Many webmasters and websites saw their Google PageRank going from 9 to 3 (YES EVEN YOUTUBE.com PageRanks went from 9 to 3) amazing, isnt it?

I have hear some other webmasters saying : “Well, Google can kiss my derrière.”

Google PageRank plays a real Battle Tank with major websites as YouTube.com (Google owns YouTube) The Washington Post, Forbes, and The San Francisco Chronicle, as well as well-known blogs Engadget, Joystiq, and The Unofficial Apple Weblog.

So guys, get ready to climb in your very own tank and take on the online world. Make sure you use the link buildings strategy as natural to your advantage. DO NOT CHEAT.

Goog 411 Calls 1-800-GOOG-411

October 22nd, 2007 by elias.kai

1-800-GOOG-411 http://www.google.com/goog411/index.html

How would Google, Comscore, hitwise measure the increase of Traffic for all Google properties including this new Google Phone service 411?

Not easy at all heh!

“I have been messing with GOOG-411 recently and find it simply amazing. I even plan to use it on vacation this summer to find hotel rooms in the cities I will be stopping at. Thanks, Google!”

- Adam Moore

How much does it cost? GOOG 411 is FREE

It’s free. Google doesn’t charge you for the information or for connecting you to the business you're looking for. Keep in mind, though, that your telephone company may apply regular charges for making a phone call or receiving an SMS.

Facebook Apps Got Cached not Cashed

October 22nd, 2007 by elias.kai

You need to know if Google Cache and index Facebook.com Applications directory pages?

Facebook Apps

In an effort to continue providing new ways to distribute your applications, we’re making the Application Directory and app “about” pages available to people who are not logged in. We are also enabling these pages to be indexed by search engines like Google, Windows Live, Yahoo!, etc., so that everyone can discover your applications, not just current Facebook users. In addition to containing information about your applications, a large part of why app about pages are useful is because of what users have to say about your app. So, we’ve decided to allow logged out users to read reviews and the discussion board so that they can get a full picture of what an app has to offer.

As always, we’ve made sure that this change respects everyone’s privacy settings. This means that:

* We will show only first names for all users, and a profile picture will be displayed only if the user allows it in their public listing. This includes the developers of the app.
* Logged out users will only have read access to the content on the about pages.

The goal of this change is to increase visibility for your applications, so users can find applications that they love using, and you can have more potential users trying your applications. You should start seeing your application about pages in web search results in a few days.
