November 29th, 2009 by elias.kai

Decision support system with incomplete and domain incoherent information management

Not Nice at all by Hackers

November 28th, 2009 by elias.kai

Yeap, it is always good to discover some Gmail hackers manipulating your email conversation.

Yes my discovery was too late but never late enough for the hacker where he could easily in normal ways get my password and use it immediately for some email conversation and build things on that.

Now, the big problem is to whom should I send the complaint and how to punish my gmail hacker?

And they say, safety and security shall prevail :) Oh Yeah

Affiliate Super Summit In Stockholm

November 28th, 2009 by elias.kai

It was good and fair enough to go back after 3 years. Yes, I do blame myself for not being out too much on latest online marketing panels BUT this time it was good to hear Gaming operators CEOs and Affiliates speaking out LOUD to the public their opinions in Stockholm.

One of the most interesting speaker was Dr. Ola Wiklund http://www.affiliatesupersummit.com/2009/08/ola-wiklund-partner-wistrand-law-firm/

Oops, me here and it reminds me of 2001 panels concerning eHealth in Europe – You might ask why? But to be honest, I am a big believer that the eHealth affiliate and online marketing industry is YET to get to the undiscovered golden mine within the coming 2 years.

Got to go now and prepare for the live streaming @ bwin.com
broadcast FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid Sunday, November 29, at 19:00 (GMT+1).

Effective but Uncommon SEO Tweak Tactics

November 20th, 2009 by elias.kai

You must have been puzzled by the many search engine optimization tactics that you see online. Especially if you try to do all of them and they do not work, you surely are quite confused by now, OR?. Thus, we created this article to help you gain some search battles with the use of effective but uncommon search engine tactics.

They are effective because common individuals can use them, but web savvy individuals can use them as well.

This article is however not to eradicate what you have learned in your previous researches on effective search engine optimization tools. Rather, the tips herewith will compliment them and will help make them effective.

If you are ready, let us move on.

Become and STAY updated with most usefull information and tools for your community/users. Yes, you want to become the AUTHORITY :)

Natural language is effective with Q&A

SEO gurus and experts will tell you that you have to know the keyword that your potential customer is going to type into the browser to search for the products, services or information that they seek. Other than thinking about keywords and keyword combinations, why not think of the possible question that your potential customer might have in his mind.

Natural language searches or question and answer searches that Ask is rallying on may be the surest way to find the very person you are looking for online. People who needs your products, wants your services and are looking for the information that you provide.

Using natural language in combination with proper keyword usage may be an effective tool in getting your web pages rank high.

Thus, when you are able to use natural language in the question and answer format that Ask is suggesting, then probably you will never have so many click and go visitors. Rather, you will be able to focus your resources and find the customers that are already hooked into your product or service even before they reach your website.

Page Speed and/or Page Rank

Lately (lol since 2005), Google is reviewing the importance of page loading speed http://code.google.com/speed/ or YSlow from Yahoo. Google believes that speed in page loading will improve page rank on search engines. While officers at Google do not think that as of this time slow loading page will be negative to your page rank, some of them believe however that the effect of slow loading page is more a benefit on the customer experience in the website rather than in the page rank.

If your webpage load faster, internet surfers will stay longer and thus have the potential to acquire products, service or navigate around your website to the benefit of your page rank.

Slow loading pages, on the other hand, may be avoided because the experience of the internet surfer is not favorable. Is there a possibility of ranking low because of slow page loading, we are 68% sure as of this time when conducting test from different geo-ip targetted to different countries.

While effect of speed in page loading may not be directly related to page rank, Google would still like to be sure and thus they are now into providing webmasters with the tools to help them optimize their site and potentially boast ranking with speed. They have announced the development of Site Speed site. This is a webmaster tool to speed up the pages.

Other insights that will benefit webmasters and website owners would be the understanding of spamming and how it affects the spammer and his site.

In a conference held via the Pubcon in Las Vegas, Matt Cutts of Google, Vanessa Fox of NinebyBlue, and Derrick Wheeler of Microsoft joint forces to review several sites. The findings that they got from the review may affect you and your online presence.

1. Blocking Internet Archives bear Negative Signal. Avoiding spamming and being tagged as spammer will affect your online presence negatively. Thus, webmasters need to avoid this.

2. Google has a web spam tagging team and thus if your site is banned or penalized, walking away and starting over may be the only option. We met in 2001 to discuss some RU and CN discoveries :)

3. Using anchor text in footers and too much repetitious keywords can be troubling and may construe your site as spam.

Finally, if you want to win the battle for search engine ranking, reviewing the links and which pages from your site is huge in terms of link may be such a good idea.

The insights you will get from reviewing which among your pages receive links from bigger sites may help you improve your site and the usage of keyword in them.

You can use the Linkscape API or if you want to do it in excel because it is easier to read, you may use the Data Analysis Toolpak for the histogram function.

There will be limitless of information you can get by analyzing the links that goes in and out of your site.

The ideas that you may get from this article may help you improve your site and its ranking. Combine the tips you get here to the search engine optimization researches that you have been doing before may be your most beneficial way for 2010.
