TEI Approach
Total Economic Impact is a methodology developed by Forrester Research that enhances a company’s technology decision-making processes and assists vendors in communicating the value proposition of their products and services to clients. The TEI methodology helps companies demonstrate, justify, and realize the tangible value of IT initiatives to both senior management and other key business stakeholders.
The TEI methodology consists of four components to evaluate investment value: benefits, costs, risks, and flexibility.
TEI Benefits
Benefits represent the value delivered to the user organization — IT and/or business units — by the proposed product or project. Often product or project justification exercises focus just on IT or marketing cost and cost reduction, leaving little room to analyze the effect of the technology on the entire organization. The TEI methodology and the resulting financial model place equal weight on the measure of benefits and the measure of costs, allowing for a full examination of the effect of the technology on the entire organization. Calculation of benefit estimates involves a clear dialogue with the user organization to understand the specific value that is created. In addition, Forrester also requires that there be a clear line of accountability established between the measurement and justification of benefit estimates after the project has been completed. This ensures that benefit estimates tie back directly to the bottom line.

How does Google index my content?
In order to deliver search results, Google “crawls” the web, collects information about each piece of content, and indexes this information so that relevant content can be matched to each search query. If Google cannot find and index your videos, they will not appear in our search results.
How can I get my videos indexed?
An easy fix is submitting a Video Sitemap, which is simply a link to each video along with some additional information that can be displayed in search results. A Video Sitemap helps Google index the video content you want exposed so that it can be matched to relevant search results for users.

What information is provided in a Video Sitemap, and how will it be used?

We use this information to verify that there is actually a live video on your page, and that it is relevant to users’ search queries. You can protect this information so that it’s accessible only by our crawler.
What can I expect from my Video Sitemap?
Google will use your Video Sitemap to crawl your website and identify your videos. We may then add them to our index, so that they appear in search results. While a Video Sitemap helps Google find content on your site that we might not otherwise discover, we don’t guarantee that all videos included in a Sitemap will appear in our search results.
Google will display a thumbnail image (provided by you or autogenerated by Google) of your video content, as well as information, including the video’s title, description and duration, as contained in your Video Sitemap.
When a user clicks your video in search results, they will go to your website where they can view a full playback of the video.
