I know that you had a great site with English content and you were ranking Top 10 in Google.de .se .fr .ca .dk .be(local) for a specific term. But now you have added some new languages such as Japanese, French, German Swedish, Danish, Arabic, Russian.
What would you think should happen for your Google positioning?
Will you keep the same Google ranking or would you lose it?
Actually Google had a LocalScore Patent since 2001 named Ranking search results by reranking the results based on local inter-connectivity by Krishna Bharat
Rethink your Search Engine Optimization strategy when initiated to add new languages for your site.
AbstractA search engine for searching a corpus improves the relevancy of the results by refining a standard relevancy score based on the interconnectivity of the initially returned set of documents. The search engine obtains an initial set of relevant documents by matching a user’s search terms to an index of a corpus. A re-ranking component in the search engine then refines the initially returned document rankings so that documents that are frequently cited in the initial set of relevant documents are preferred over documents that are less frequently cited within the initial set.

Imagine you had a website with 10 pages and each page had a Google PageRank of 6 and more. After a week, you thought that it is good to add a forum or grow your website to 1000 pages, what will happen ?
1- You may end up seeing your new pages into Google Supplemental results.
2- Your site might loose a PageRank 6+ to PageRank 4+

For those 2 reasons, I suggest you define carefully your pages in the most interlinked way and have a unique content, title, description for each of your new pages or your forums.

Of course, you should acquire more deep links to your new pages and increase the time spent on these new pages. One more additional and primary task is to have an automatic discovery site map that can include any new page you publish into your site map page.

Notes when thinking of your Google Supplemental results:
IBL’s….TBPR..in Main Index….in Supplemental….%Supp
5………1………..2………………298………………99%
10……..2………..5………………295………………98%
20……..3……….10………………290………………97%
50……..4……….50………………250………………83%
100…….5……….80………………220………………73%
1000……6………200………………100………………33%

Yep another buzz word. But as I mentioned earlier or last month that Search engine positioning is all about social connectivity and goes far beyond the natural biology connection ( just imagine, a mom and her son ).
Or take it widely and imagine if you are in a small city like Kalmar and someone will point to two guys as liars for two years.Than come back after one year and ask everyone in that city who are the two liars, then of course evryone you ask will point directly to those two guys mentioned 3 years ago.( cappic ? )

12 hours ago, we couldn’t enter adwords base adsense and now i see a google webmaster central as a new interface for webmasters tools.
