Petit, Simple, Futé … et complètement libre, CMSimple « revival » !
CMSimple, un CMS (Content Management System) léger, sans base de données, est connu et beaucoup utilisé en Europe du nord.
Développé depuis de nombreuses années uniquement par Peter Harteg, un webmaster/développeur danois, ce logiciel connaît un franc succès auprès des webmasters amateurs et des structures souhaitant gérer un site facilement et économiquement.
Ce logiciel, très simple d’abord, permet d’installer et de créer rapidement de petits sites puis de les maintenir et de les faire évoluer grâce à de nombreux plugins (modules) développés par des tiers (non supportés par l’auteur). Une quantité astronomique de templates, de qualité disparate il est vrai, ont été mis à disposition par des supporters pour personnaliser son site.
Il s’avère cependant que la maîtrise de l’anglais est souvent nécessaire pour intégrer certains plugins ou pour comprendre les subtilités internes du logiciel. Une petite connaissance du PHP permet ensuite à un webmaster perspicace de maîtriser toute la puissance de ce CMS !
L’auteur déclinait deux types de licences, commerciale avec achat de licence ou libre (AGPL3) mais avec mention en lien vers le site de l’auteur.
Presque parfait dans son domaine, CMSimple souffrait quand même de petits défauts : la gestion autocratique du développement tenait difficilement compte de l’avis des utilisateurs/webmasters, le logiciel se corrigeait doucement mais évoluait peu, l’interface d’administration n’est pas très “funky” et limitées en possibilité de configuration (pas de SEO – optimisation pour les moteurs de recherche-, pas de gestion des pages, pas de gestion des templates …), l’éditeur intégré est simpliste et non conforme aux standards web – la possibilité de le remplacer par un éditeur wysiwyg digne de ce nom n’est pas aisée pour tous -).
Malgré le fait qu’il restait une perle dans sa catégorie (on ne peut pas le comparer à Joomla par exemple dont les ambitions sont autres), beaucoup d’utilisateurs restaient frustrés par les possibilités inexploitées de ce logiciel.
Jusqu’à ce que quelques développeurs se regroupent pour créer une version parallèle, en respectant la licence de l’auteur.
Le nouveau projet baptisé CMSimple_XH, parce résolument tourné vers le respect des standards XHTML et HTML, a démarré il y a quelques mois avec un noyau de développeurs essentiellement germanophones et commence à se structurer (organisation interne, roadmap, forum, wiki …). La première version de CMSimple_XH comprend un code interne nettoyé – compatible PHP 5.3 et HTML5 -, un éditeur wysiwyg intégré (FCKeditor), un module SEO et un module de personnalisation des paramètres de pages, un template modulable et administrable, une meilleure capacité d’intégration des plugins, bref une très bonne base de départ.
C’est peut-être cette initiative qui a finalement convaincu l’auteur originel de mettre fin au support de CMSimple le 31/12/2009.
Peter Harteg arrête le développement de CMSimple et laisse la main aux nouveaux développeurs de CMSimple_XH. En quittant, il libère complètement son logiciel avec une nouvelle licence libre GPL3 sans contrainte de lien.
Si la nouvelle équipe de développement passe le premier cap et trouve son rythme de croisière, CMSimple survivra donc sous CMSimple_XH sans rien renier de ce qui a fait son succès : facilité de création, de déploiement et de maintenance pour des petits sites fonctionnels et conformes aux standards.

The Romans stole the body of Jesus to perpetuate the con. Matthew 24;24 gave such notice of false Jesus’ too This was the first false Jesus. The Mormons have their false Jesus. No doubt there has been others as well. Jesus would not have returned to those who deserted him and became servants of Satan before leaveing to join his father in heaven. Mark 13:5 shows many false Christs comeing as well. Another thing according to Mark 9:30 Jesus says “The son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him;and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.” Jesus wouldn’t have spoke like that. Only a Roman would have. Jesus would have said ” the son of God will be betrayed and delivered to the hands of man. They shall kill me and I will join my father who art in heaven. The Romans rewrote history and had Jesus returning on the third day so that they could use him. Thus the Roman Catholic religion was born. Jesus became a meateater and people was suddenly allowed to kill in God’s name. Study Matthew. He let the cat out of the bag. Gave us bits of truth to show us the way. Peter gave a few out but not intentionally. Meat was unclean and not alled to be eaten. Not so with Jews and Romans though Futhermore Jesus wasn’t sent to save us but to bring the Jews to God. The Romans changed that and had him dieing for our sins instead of because of betrayal. They had politic back then too. You wrote what those in power wanted you to write or not at all. Actually the scribes did the writeing. Not the disciples. The deciples told them what to write and if their masters didn’t approve of it it was removed. So Matthew had to be sneaky in showing us the truth. To show us the ressurection was false he had all of the saints riseing out of there graves and walking down the road to town when Jesus rose from the dead. He betrayed the Romans. Peter never did but he did accidently let the cat out of the bag too. Meat he showed had been unclean until Jesus did and he started serveing Satan. Read your bible and see the truth for yourself.
