EGYPT retained their African Cup of Nations Cup crown today when a Mohamed Aboutraika goal earned a 1-0 win over Cameroon and a record sixth title – Egypt win African Cup of Nations 2008 Yalla Kooora -.

The defending champions ensured they held on to the trophy when Aboutraika struck in the 77th minute of the final in Accra, Ghana.

“Aboutraika you are the master,” the crowd chanted, “You made the net sing your praises.”
