Google Gadgets goes to the Mass

I have predicted or assumed that all Google gadgets should be free to use on all websites and not just limited to Google desktop. ( May 2006 on Google Blogoscoped :

But I guess Google was a little bit late (knowing they are much faster than any other company) and announced on the 3rd of october 2006 ( a special date for me : 6 years since I left Lebanon ).

And today, I am having so much fun using the new GOOGLE Ajax Search Api beta version 1,0 ( wow a long name for this beautiful gift )
