It was great having Google Developer Advocate in Stockhom @ spotify offices last night.
One can really take some more insights of it when Google Dev advocate guys were pushing the developers to look deeply into the Activity Streams http://activitystrea.ms/ and its API when hacking and building new apps and plugins on top of the Google Buzz API.
My guess is that Google ME is soon to see the light specially if we look what Paul Adams from Google building a focus niched research group around his UX findings. Read more this powerpoint — cool stuff in there:
My question to them was as following:
Are you ready to integrate all real time social activity streams and use these verbs as emotional search social relevancy patterns?

Google.me or Google me has nothing to do with this inspirational Google Me movie.
In the current draft spec, you can perform such actions as Post, Share, Save, Mark as Favorite, Play, Start Following, Make Friend, Join and Tag Object. An Object could be an Article, Blog Entry, Note, File, Photo, Photo Album, Playlist, Video, Audio, Bookmark, Person, Group, Place or Comment.
Online surveys to get feedback for current or future products isn’t new to Google, so it’s not particularly surprising that the search giant would conduct focus groups when evaluating the potential of a new product. While the survey doesn’t confirm the existence of “Google Me” it certainly is another piece of evidence pointing in that direction. There’s no doubt that Google is serious about social networking and is evaluating where the gaps are in current offerings.
