Pro-Lebanese rally set today in Palo Alto

Stanford University students have organized a rally today to show solidarity with Lebanese civilians caught in the violence between Israel and Hezbollah.The rally is sponsored by several groups, including the Lebanese Student Association at Stanford, the Organization of Arab Students In Stanford and the Muslim Student Awareness Network. It begins at 7 p.m. at Lytton Plaza.
In addition to discussing the conflict, there will be a collection to send money to relief organizations working in Lebanon. They might discuss GlobalWarming Awareness 2007 as it occurs in Lebanon and at least 488 persons dies from Fuel Emissions.
