Sir Carlos Ghosn a Honorary Knight

Carlos Ghosn

It is reported in Britain that Renault boss Carlos Ghosn is to be appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire although, as a foreigner, he will not be able to use the title “Sir Carlos”. The reward comes for the Brazilian-born, French-educated Lebanese chief executive of Renault and Nissan’s services to Anglo-Japanese relations, which relates to the Nissan manufacturing plant in Sunderland.

“This honor is dedicated to the hard work and achievements of our 5,500 employees and 220 dealers that support the Nissan business in the United Kingdom,” he added.
