TwitDir - a Twitter directory, search for fellow Twitterers.

Quotably - track discussions on Twitter by username.

Tweet from your desktop / browser

Twitterfox - Firefox add-on for Twitter. You get a little icon on your status bar that when clicked lets you read new Tweets and send them. Less obtrusive than other Twitter clients.

Twitbin - Firefox extension that puts a Twitter sidebar in your browser.

Twitterbar - Firefox extension which allows you to post to Twitter directly from your Firefox address bar.

Twhirl and Snitter - desktop clients for Windows and Mac.

Twitterific - Twitter client for Mac from Iconfactory.

gTwitter - Twitter client for Linux, pretty basic, but it’s better than nothing.

Witty - Twitter client for Vista.

Spaz - opensource Twitter client for Mac, Windows and Linux (Hat trick!).

Twitku - read and post to Twitter, Jaiku and Pownce from the same page. There are lots of other services that let you post to multiple microblogging sites e.g. HelloTxt and Ping.fm (private beta), plus some of the desktop clients like Twhirl let you do this too.

Twittershare - cutting in on Pownce’s territory, Twittershare allows you to share files over Twitter (maximum 10MB). Available as a download for Mac and Windows, but there is also a no download web interface option.

Tweetr - Twitter client that lets your send files (up to 10 MB)

Twit+ - share pictures, videos and files over Twitter.

Twiddeo - Twitter with video. “Don’t just tell people what you are doing, show them!”

TwitterGram - create audio Tweets.

Twitter Poster - “a visual representation of the degree of influence of the Twitter users”.

Twittories - collaborative story-telling 140 characters at a time, an interesting experiment (not sure if it’s still going).

Tweetgift - give gifts to your fellow Twitterers.

Twaction - “turn Tweets into actions”.

Twitter Comic Book - Twitter and Flickr mashup.

Wordy Birdie - Twitter based word frequency quessing game. Sounds like fun (?)

Google Reader to Twitter - greasemonkey script allowing you to Tweet posts from your GReader.

Twitsig - convert Tweets into images and use as signatures.

TwitterNotes - create and manage your notes using Twitter.

Twitter Timer - send Twitter Timer a direct message and it will Tweet you back a reminder.

TwitThis - add a button to you blog posts that lets people Tweet them.
